Ambient Carbon’s Methane Eradication Photochemical System (“MEPS”) is designed to meet that need. The system uses UV light in a treatment unit to break down methane in air streams, helping to remove methane and deliver cleaner air in return. Because methane is a short-lived but very potent greenhouse gas, reducing it can deliver significant near-term climate benefits and complement longer-term CO₂ reduction efforts.
